The goal isn’t to take away your ambition or to get you to stop caring about your goals. It’s to help you build a more sustainable relationship with success so you can continue moving forward without constantly running yourself into the ground.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Justine Gordon, a therapist for burnout and chronic stress in Los Angeles, California!

I work with ambitious adults who feel burnt out and depleted by the chronic need to keep performing, producing and holding everything together.

Having grown up in a high-achieving environment myself, I understand how easily chronic stress and burnout can become normalized, especially when productivity and success start to shape your sense of identity and self-worth.

Over time, both personally and in my work with clients, I came to understand that burnout isn’t simply about “doing too much.” Often, it’s connected to deeper patterns around pressure, self-worth, fear and the belief that slowing down is somehow unsafe. This is the work I now help my clients do in therapy.

Aside from burnout & chronic stress, I also help clients navigate other patterns related to their ambition, such as perfectionism & people-pleasing, imposter syndrome, high-pressure careers, anxiety & overthinking as well as relationship challenges and postpartum challenges.
